I can’t remember when I didn’t like you
Love doesn’t need to resemble a fairy tale to be romantic. I’m more of a realist who believes that a relationship is built on a solid foundation. It was fate that brought us together on a journey we’ll never forget. We’re like the couple in the illustrated book I Like You by Warburg. The book’s synopsis reads, “Here is the book that Romeo would have given Juliet, Charlie Brown would have given Snoopy”. In the book, the girl says to the boy: “I like you, because you’re a good person to like. I like you, because I don’t know why, but everything that happens is nicer with you. I can’t remember when I didn’t like you, it must have been lonesome then…”
Life is a vast library of knowledge. I want to express my love for him with hugs, kisses, laughter and mutual dependence. I love the natural mood of this photograph; I think it would never look out of place in our home. After all, home is where the heart is, and my heart belongs to him.
