When love returns, we’ll be together for eternity
To be honest, our relationship was never the dramatic type. We’re together simply because it feels right. We had a brief encounter at 18, but soon parted ways to live our own lives. I’ve always thought that love is like a road trip; you never know who you’ll meet at the next turning. But then again, life never has a script, and when love makes a U-turn, it’s a wonderful surprise. We met again in Melbourne, Australia, and this time, it was for good. We spent every moment together in university, we sent whose father? off to a better place, and we welcomed a little bundle of joy. 4 years later, we walked the aisle, hand in hand with our little one.
I love the mountains and oceans, so we flew across the Indian Ocean, all the way to Bali. We met a photographer who loved a good challenge, and at daybreak, we were already on a boat, headed towards the open sea, the view accentuated by majestic mountains and cliffs in the distance. We also stumbled around in the dark while walking down to the paddy terraces, into the crowds. Many years from now, we’ll still pore over our photo album and reminisce with our little one. For as long as you’re brave, you have nothing to fear in love.
