Off to Paris for a feast of love
There’s a saying that goes, ‘finders keepers’. But love isn’t about that, not at all. How deep must the connection be for two people to grow old together? The definition of time is such a subjective thing. We’ve spent 10 years together now, and we have two angelic children. My then-girlfriend (and now wife) lights up any room she walks into. She said, “Let’s do something special; a wedding would bring us closer than ever.” And voila – we got married!
She’s always loved Paris. I wanted to realize her dream of shooting a wedding album in the most romantic place on earth, so we travelled across the globe to the city of love. I’m in the F&B industry, so whenever I see good food, I just have to try it. Fortunately for me, the city of love is also the city with the 2nd most number of Michelin star restaurants in the world, like a giant-sized buffet spread, a smorgasbord of delectable treats for the tummy. I feasted on foie gras, black truffles, French oysters, Camembert, wine and more… it was hard to keep my excitement under control. My gestures brought smiles to some passersby’s faces; I think they’ve never seen such a greedy person being photographed in his true element! On a winter’s night, we enjoyed this romantic feast to our hearts’ content.
